Biking and Walking Trails in Morgantown
Have you taken a walk or a bike ride on any of our wonderful local trails? Here are some trails for you to check out:
The Capertown Trail
This trail is six miles long and paved, so it is perfect for any activity. It travels along the Monongahela Riverfront, Hazel Ruby McQuain Park and Amphitheater, the Historic Train Depot, and Historic Downtown Morgantown. Businesses along the way cater to bikers, walkers, and runners, providing outdoor patios, bike rentals, and cool drinks.
The Decker's Creek Trail
This trail runs along a 1,000 ft incline for over nineteen miles. It starts at Hazel Ruby McQuain Park, paralleling Decker's Creek. Three miles of the trail is paved.
Which trail is your favorite?
